"You'll never know everything about anything, especially something you love.”
Julia Child
What sets me apart from the rest would be my love for both Culinary and Baking and Pastries. It was very difficult for me to choose between the two. I also have had prior experience as a line cook which most people on the baking side haven't experienced the excitement and pressure of a culinary kitchen. I enjoyed that kind of environment where there is pressure and a sense of urgency, but at the same time I don't believe I would enjoy it 100% of the time.
I would consider myself dependable, fair, honest, intelligent, confident, helpful, persistent, precise, quiet (at times), willing to learn, and I believe I have a sense of urgency. I also have been told I am at making things aesthetically pleasing, and that I am professional.
There are things I need to work though. Things like not being so judgemental about my own work or product, and that I need to not sweat the small stuff. Also I tend to get mad when people aren't doing anything, when there is stuff to do. I am aware of these issues and I am always trying to improve as a student, chef , and as a person.
